Apple iPhone – your ‘Three in One’ multimedia gadget

The iPhone is a dynamic mobile phone developed by the US based Apple Inc. It is an exceptionally beautiful multimedia phone with a multi-touch screen. The phone has virtual keyboard and buttons, making it ever so impressive than the other mobile phones that exist in the concurrent market.

The iPhone was both designed and marketed by Apple Inc. The launching of the gadget was somewhat inevitable, as the Apple Inc. made a huge profit with its iPod, couple of years ago. At first, the company introduced the dynamic mobile phone in its home country on June 29, 2007. It was launched in the European market, including the UK, in the late 2007.

This vibrant iPhone allows its users to arrange call conferencing, holding, merging and integrating with full satisfaction. The mobile phone has caller ID, voice dialing option and visual voicemail features. The mobile phone is smart enough to understand that the user needs smooth transformation from listening music to responding a call. Therefore, it automatically fades away the music when the user responds to a call. The music fades back in, once the user ends the call.

Apart than offering calling facilities, the iPhone also works as a camera and a portable media player. In other words, it is a ‘Three in One’ gazette! You can talk with it, send text messages, take pictures or listen to never ending music. Additionally, there are visual voicemail facility and Internet services including e-mail & web browsing with Wi-Fi connectivity. Furthermore, the iPhone incorporates EDGE technology, giving you a higher Internet speed and reliability. What more, you could ask for?

Price of the Apple iPhone is however, a bit high. Interested buyers find it expressive, compared to other mobile phones in the market. In general, in the UK, an iPhone is sold at £269.00. If you want to buy an iPhone on monthly installments, grab one of the many options from the authorised sellers. There are basically three tariff structures to choose from - £35, £45, £55. All of the three are basically 18 months contracts, meaning you pay the price for your iPhone in one and a half year time. If you take the £55 deal, you will get 1200 minute talk time with 500 text massages. Once you possess an iPhone with O2 connection, you are part of the UK’s largest public Wi-Fi network. This network covers more than 7,500 restaurants, cafés, airport lounges and other places. The O2 claims that they have 99% network coverage of the country, meaning you will never get lost with an iPhone as you can browse the maps anytime, anywhere.

Every electronic device has backdrops, so does the iPhone. For instance, it does not support voice dialing. Also, though the iPhone has a built in 2.0 mega pixel camera on the back, it does not have a flash nor does it support video recording. You can, nevertheless, zoom in and out the photos by simply pinching and un-pinching the unique multi-touch interface.

For its extra-ordinary features and dynamic looks, the iPhone was named as the "Invention of the Year" in 2007 by the Time magazine. So, if you are planning to buy a state-of-the art mobile phone, buy an Apple iPhone; it will be your ‘Three in One’ gadget.
